Updating language to serve the people using THRIVE
Since the THRIVE platform launched, during the list building process it has been required to select and record the main person conducting the procedures in the room and up to two assistants.
Where the platform previously used ‘List Leader’ for the primary person, edits have since been made to make this read as ‘Scopist’ as the system focuses on the Endoscopy departments in hospitals, this is the most appropriate wording for their role.
Other words that have been used across the platform have been Endoscopist and Consultant but we have worked with department heads and other invested parties to agree that Scopist is the best option for consistency and understanding.
This now appears in the lists and cancellation reasons so is consistent throughout experience using the site and reading reports.
